Chongwon Law Group is an immigration law firm founded in 2011 by Ashley J. Song in Manhattan, New York. Chongwon (淸原) means “pure source.” The name comes from Chongwon Trading, the company my father built over a lifetime. It was the firm foundation of our family, and to me the name stands for responsibility, honesty, and steadfast dedication. I carry it forward to stand with people at the turning points of their lives.

In Korean, “Chongwon” can also mean a formal petition to the government. That is exactly what an immigration petition is. We prepare each one with care and sincerity. We do more than process paperwork. We listen to the story behind each case and gather the evidence it requires. From the initial consultation through filing and responses to additional requests, we stay with you every step of the way, with accountability.
